Lunch at Scarpetta at 355 West 14th St. in the Meat Packing District. Amazing.

Chef Scott Conant prepared a great sampling of what Scarpetta is all about. Lunch started with the Roasted Beet and La Tur Salad with organic yellow and red beets, endive, radicchio, and trucioleto vinaigrette. Next, he served the Duck and Foie Gras Ravioli in a marsala reduction, insane. And finally, I tried the forever-classic Spaghetti with Tomato and Basil. Simple but prepared nicely. Good times.
