These are images from last week’s road trip in and around Palm Springs and Yucca Valley, California through the desert. Notable spots along the route here are the Coachella Valley Preserve, the Integratron, CA-247, and the 29 Palms Highway. I didn’t think a Chevy Cobalt rental would hold up to my constant pulling over but it did. After I get back from Seoul and Tokyo, I’ll post some more selects.

Bridle Hill Farm is about 3 hours upstate in Jeffersonville, NY. I went up there with Derek and Eva for a shoot awhile back but I never really looked at the photos from that roadtrip until today. The farm was equipped with a riding stable both indoors and out, a few barns, and a perfect white house on a hill. I just saw the film Silent Light by Carlos Reygadas and started thinking about the pastoral landscape as a subject again. These are some images of the property and the farm.

Keren and I took a roadtrip down Highway 1 in California a few weeks ago. We started near San Francisco and headed south through Monterey, Salinas, and Carmel and ended up in Big Sur. These are some photos from the trip.
