Leaving Palm Springs was tough cause I could have stayed at the Ace for another week, but on the way back to the airport through San Bernardino County we stopped along the way. We walked around the town of Beaumont, California and found some weirdness in the antique stores there which line 6th Street.

These are images from last week’s road trip in and around Palm Springs and Yucca Valley, California through the desert. Notable spots along the route here are the Coachella Valley Preserve, the Integratron, CA-247, and the 29 Palms Highway. I didn’t think a Chevy Cobalt rental would hold up to my constant pulling over but it did. After I get back from Seoul and Tokyo, I’ll post some more selects.

Post K-town BBQ and a great set at the Levi’s Fader Fort in the Ace Hotel, my homies Restless People head to Piano’s for the True Panther showcase with Lemonade, Delorean, and Glasser tonight starting at 9. Big up to BBQ spot for the fantastic luncheon. Really proud of these guys.

Last night, the Art Directors Club hosted an opening party for the ADC Young Guns 7 Exhibition. My girlfriend Keren Richter was honored with this prestigious award along with 66 other artists, and I am proud. It was like watching the “design” Oscars. Also, to accompany the exhibition, ADC in a collaboration with Moleskine released a Young Guns 7 book. (images below) Shouts to Tim and Ami for coming out to the event and hanging with us at the Ace Hotel for the after-party. It was a rad evening.
