At this year’s event, Nike Sportswear sponsored 88 Boadrum, a 88-minute performance of a composition by Eye from the Boredoms and interpreted by Gang Gang Dance, along with 88 drummers at the Williamsburg Waterfront in Brooklyn. Having photographed Gang Gang before, I knew it was going to be something special. The setting spoke for itself and the light was incredible. The performance was one of a kind and it was a great opportunity to shoot and experience it. Thanks to Nike P.R. for press access and Tony Plunkett.
